How to create an email address on your own domain with EmailGang
You can use branded addresses without moving your website. The steps below take you from adding the domain to sending mail.

Before you start
You do not need your own domain to try EmailGang, because every account can create clones on emailgang.com. A custom domain is for when you want addresses like [email protected]. Free plans can own one domain, and paid plans can add more.
Step 1: add the domain
Sign in, open the domain section of the dashboard and add yourdomain.com.
Step 2: verify ownership
Add the TXT record shown in the dashboard (named _emailgang-verify) at your DNS provider, wait for DNS to update, then click Verify. Unverified claims expire after 48 hours so unused names are not locked.
Step 3: create a clone
Create an address such as [email protected]. That address is what mail will be sent from.
Step 4: add mail DNS records
Add the records at your registrar or DNS host, not inside EmailGang, and keep your existing website records so your site does not move.
- SPF: a TXT record on the root. If you already have one, add the mail server entry to it instead of creating a second SPF record.
- DKIM: use Generate DKIM key in the dashboard, which shows the exact TXT value to publish under dkim._domainkey.
- DMARC: a TXT record named _dmarc, for example v=DMARC1; p=none; to start monitoring.
Step 5: send and receive
Read and reply in the dashboard, or connect a website using per-clone SMTP credentials. See the guide on sending website email through SMTP.
