Privacy Policy

EmailGang ("we", "us") operates https://emailgang.com, a platform that lets one account create email "clones" up to the limits of your plan — real addresses under your own domain or our shared domain, each with its own inbox.

• Account email, bcrypt-hashed password, and a recovery email if you add one.
• IP address, approximate location, and device/browser details at signup and login, used for fraud and abuse prevention.
• The email you send and receive through your clones — sender/recipient addresses, subject, and body — stored so your clone inboxes actually work.
• Domains and clone addresses you create.
• Payment and subscription records processed by Square — we do not store full card numbers.

Outbound message subject/body is automatically scanned for profanity and policy violations at send time. Platform administrators can view account activity and message content when investigating abuse, spam, security incidents, or support requests — this is not routine monitoring, but it does happen, and you should know it's possible before you send anything through a clone.

We do not sell your data or share clone content with advertisers. If you add a recovery email, we do not read or access that outside mailbox — it stays outside our system entirely.

Square for billing, Cloudflare for inbound mail routing, and our own self-hosted mail server for sending — no third-party mailbox provider ever sees your clone mail.

Deleting a clone deletes its messages. Deleting a domain deletes every clone on it. To delete your account entirely, contact support and we'll remove your data.

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. If you set a recovery email, login codes are sent there on new devices. Traffic to and from EmailGang is encrypted in transit.

EmailGang is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
